In general, which stepper motor is better for cnc machine?
Does your application require moderate torque while only sipping current? Or does your application require maximum torque and you are able to provide amps of current? Is the power source for your application a battery, or a regulated power supply that plugs into AC? Or does your application require maximum speed? Or does it require extreme linearity, accuracy and precision for each step (or microstep)?
Stepper Motor 1 would be better suited for use in a high torque CNC application. (capable of dissipating 5.6W continuously)
Stepper Motor 2 would be better suited for a small robot that is battery powered. (capable of dissipating 4.8W continuously)
